Brake fluid is an extremely important type of lubricant used in the hydraulic brake and clutch systems in most cars, motorcycles, and light trucks. The boiling point may need to be adjusted depending on how much pressure you are applying to the brakes. A general rule of thumb is to never let your vehicle stop at a full stretch before adding a half-gallon of water to the tank.
